Olowalu Plantation House
Fisheye Studio has been fortunate to film at the Olowalu Plantation House wedding venue in the recent past. It makes our list as a top Maui wedding venue.
Robert and May were friends of Fisheye Studio prior to their wedding day. We had collaborated on some commercial projects in recent past, and were honored that we could tell their own love story.
Originally, both our bride and groom were from the islands of Hawaii. Robert is from Maui and May is from Oahu. Together, they make a power duo as Robert is the entrepreneur and May a well respected educator.
To kick off the event, they hosted a BBQ for close friends and family the day before. It was significant that we show this as Hawaii is very much about aloha with close ones.
The day of the wedding, we were blessed with beautiful weather, touching vows, and an appearance by musician Anuhea.
Maui Wedding Venues
We love Maui wedding venues! With a more laid back vibe, it boasts climates from snow top mountains to lush tropical forests. Because it is the 2nd biggest island of Hawaii, it gives you more diversity in landscape. This gives you lots of options when it comes to Maui wedding venues.
As you begin, we highly recommend you work with a local planner such as White Orchid Wedding who can help assist you in the process. Whether it’s an oceanfront estate or a five star resort, they will guide you in the process.
The island boasts year round tropical conditions so you are pretty much guaranteed warm weather and beautiful weather (rain is good luck by the way) no matter when it is.
