Medical School To Marriage | An Upstate NY Wedding

For this post we’re grateful to share our film entitled “Medical School to Marriage”. Surrounded by an intimate number of family and friends, Nina and Michael exchanged vows at St. Patrick’s church with Father Joseph there to officiate. Then, off they went to the family home for their reception. The home is historic as it was a campground for the British during the Revolutionary War and was a stunning backdrop for Nina and Michael to end their celebration.

Our lovely couple’s story goes back to Buffalo, while in medical school, where they met at first. Now, they are currently in residency as they start their new careers together. It’s been a long road for them both to have gone through school together, but as many of their loved ones stated, they are friends first, partners, and now husband and wife. Together, they’ve conquered this part of their journey, and will continue that in everything they do.

Like many couples, it was a challenging set of months leading up to their September 2020 wedding due to the challenges presented with the pandemic. However, our couple never wavered in their positivity and determination to make this day a success.

Many thanks to our team for being flexible as our original lead shooter was unable to fly out to NY from California to film this wedding. This particular celebration was special as last year we filmed the bride’s sister’s wedding at the same location and was excited to return. The emotions we all felt was quite challenging, but fortunately, all the vendors stepped up to deliver for our lovely couple. A special thank you to Jesse and Dru for helping us out as well.

Thank you!

Also, a big shout out to the wedding planner La Maison Fete on doing another outstanding job. They are one of the most reputable wedding planners in the USA and we’re so thankful to partner alongside them again for this college sweetheart’s wedding.
